Ventura Recovery Center has been voted one of the Best Addiction Treatment Centers in the United States by Newsweek and Statistica. We were evaluated according to our quality of care, service, follow-up care, and accommodations. It is an honor to be recognized for the work we do. Helping others find freedom from drug and alcohol addiction is our mission and passion.

We Offer a Solution to Drug Addiction and Alcoholism

A Successful Approach to Drug Rehabilitation

When Ventura Recovery Center opened its doors in the Los Angeles area in 1989, our mission was simple: to provide the very best drug rehab and alcohol addiction treatment in a comfortable and calm, friendly setting. We have grown a lot since then, but our mission is still clear. Our proven success rates, JCAHO accreditation, and unique approach sets us apart from the rest. Our clients are not patients to us, they are family.

Our singular approach to alcohol rehab and drug rehab embraces physical, emotional, and psychological health. A JCAHO accredited medically supervised drug detox treatment center, we  provide inpatient drug rehab,  intensive outpatient treatment, in a dual diagnosis environment.

We focus on the whole person. Specialized 30, 60 and 90-Day treatment options include individual and group therapy, allowing the time required to heal the body and renew the spirit. We also give you the tools to turn your life around once the program is completed. Making positive, thoughtful choices that lead to healthy and productive lives is the end goal of our alcoholism and drug addiction rehab treatment center.

“I am a HUGE fan of Ventura Recovery Center and will be for a lifetime.”

JCAHO Accredited Medically Supervised Drug Detox and Alcohol Detox

“The staff and owners know what they are talking about because they’ve been through it themselves. This is what separates Ventura Recovery Center from the country club “rehabs”. Alcoholism is a deadly, progressive disease. Ventura Recovery Center understands this, and is the best choice for anyone who is serious about recovery, serious about saving their own life, and serious about freedom from drugs and alcohol.”

Comprehensive Treatment Options

Medically Supervised Detox

JCAHO Accredited, our Medically Supervised Drug Detox and Alcohol Detox Program is tailored to provide the best possible care. Our highly trained staff closely monitors your progress to make sure the drug detox or alcohol detox process is comfortable and safe.

Inpatient Drug Rehab Center

Inpatient drug rehab has been proven to have the highest success rates among the various types of substance abuse treatment. Group and individual therapy sessions, life skills workshops, and community integration set our program of recovery apart. Our clients continue the drug rehabilitation process, build social bonds and enjoy activities like art therapy, yoga, trips to the beach and playing sports.

Dual Diagnosis Drug Rehab Center

Drug addiction or substance abuse is often coupled with a mental disorder like PTSD, depression or bipolar disorder. This is called "co-occurring" or dual diagnosis. Both disorders need to be treated at the same time, involving psychiatric care as well as traditional counseling. We treat these co-occurring disorders with individualized plans for profound healing.

Long Term Drug Rehab Treatment Center

At Ventura Recovery Center we offer 30/60/90 day plans. We also offer long term options. Many of out clients stay with us 6 months or even a year. We believe that longer terms of drug rehab treatment lead to higher success rates. Our clients are able to not only recover physically, but also have the time to build a new way of life.

We accept most PPO insurance plans, including those from out-of-state.

Our addiction treatment center accepts most insurance policies (PPO) including those from out-of-state. We regret that we cannot accept Medicare, Medicaid, or Medi-Cal at this time. Private pay options are available.

Our Facilities: More Than Just A Drug Rehab Center

This rehab is amazing, a very comfortable detox when I first came in then a smooth transition to sober life where I was able to have the freedoms to find myself and start my life again. I was able to get a job when the time was appropriate for me and my needs. Being here has showed me that living sober can actually be enjoyable. The staff have been in our same position so they can relate and be supportive when you might be in crisis. As with any rehab if you aren’t ready to quit then you’ll find anything negative to say. This place saved my life and my brother’s life. It truly is a great place to start your new life.
