When Siesta House opened its doors in 1989, it was a small sober-living home in a nice neighborhood in Thousand Oaks, CA. As hundreds of clients found sobriety at Siesta House over the years, it became a reputable and respected institution in the community. In 2012 Siesta House was purchased and revamped by three men who had very clear-cut ideas about how to get sober and stay that way. They found recovery themselves and strive to help other men and women find long-term sobriety. They believe that recovery takes work and time, so they have designed a program that supports step-work and gives clients the time they need to start a new way of living.

Ventura Recovery Center offers JCAHO accredited medically supervised drug and alcohol treatment, professional psychiatric evaluation and individualized detox programs. We received our accreditation in 2015. Nationally recognized, Joint Commission (JCAHO) accreditation and certification is a mark of quality that reflects a commitment to meeting certain performance criteria. Their main goal is to continuously provide improved health care by assessing health care organizations and motivating them to excel in providing high quality, effective and safe and effective care. Being JCAHO Accredited, we guarantee that you or your loved one will receive the highest quality of care.

We can help you verify your insurance and determine what your out-of-pocket expenses will be for your stay at Ventura Recovery Center. Unfortunately, we do not accept Medicare/Medicaid or MediCal but can offer payment plans. We are here to help.
