Nationally recognized, Joint Commission (JCAHO) accreditation and certification is a mark of quality that reflects a commitment to meeting certain performance criteria. Their main goal is to continuously provide improved health care by assessing health care organizations and motivating them to excel in providing high quality, effective and safe and effective care. Being JCAHO Accredited, we guarantee that you or your loved one will receive the highest quality of care.
Established in 1969, The Behavioral Health Care Accreditation Program began began by accrediting health care organizations that treat and support persons with developmental disabilities. Today, more than 1,900 behavioral health care organizations are accredited with the gold seal. These facilities and organizations provide treatment for addictions and crisis stabilization. Some are stand alone full service drug rehab programs like Ventura Recovery Center. Recently, 13,339 addiction treatment programs applied to The National Survey of Substance Abuse Treatment Services. Of those only 19.2 percent were accredited by the Joint Commission.
