Albert Garcia

Admissions

For 20 years, Albert battled a severe addiction to drugs and alcohol that nearly cost him his life, his family, and his freedom. After multiple relapses, he hit a turning point following a 2nd DUI. With the support of a community recovery center, Albert committed to long-term sobriety and began rebuilding his life. He now has over 3 years of sobriety and attends meetings on a regular basis. Albert embraced therapy, 12-step programs, and later pursued a career in working in treatment. His lived experience gave him a unique ability to connect with others struggling with addiction. Today, Albert is our Admissions Coordinator and Community Outreach Specialist. His mission is to help others where he once was, broken and alone. Recovery gave him a second chance at life.

“I am here as living proof that there is hope for the hopeless.”
