DBT combines acceptance and change—two essential elements of recovery. Our therapists work with clients to explore the underlying emotions and beliefs that drive addiction while also encouraging real, meaningful behavioral change. In a safe and structured environment, clients practice new coping skills and learn how to apply them in everyday situations.
At Ventura Recovery Center, our Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Program provides trauma-focused therapy to help clients heal from past experiences that may contribute to substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. EMDR is an evidence-based treatment proven to reduce the emotional intensity of traumatic memories, allowing clients to reframe these experiences and build a healthier future. Led by licensed EMDR clinicians, our program integrates trauma-informed care with comprehensive addiction treatment. We work closely with clients to address the root causes of substance abuse, foster emotional regulation, and promote long-term recovery.

We can help you verify your insurance and determine what your out-of-pocket expenses will be for your stay at Ventura Recovery Center.
